Fly fishing brings together guides who spent their childhood, youth and quiet moments on the Lim, Ljuča and Tara. We know where the trout holds in low water, when the grayling rises to the fly, and which paths lead to the parts of the valley few ever see.

What's in the water

Three species, three kinds of days.

Every river here rewards a different kind of patience — from technical dry fly work and (euro)nymphing to casting streamers for something much larger.

Grayling

The realm of the magnificent grayling — featuring huge, colorful fins — lies within the clear, calm waters of the beautiful Ljuča chalk stream (incidentally, this is the southernmost point in Europe where the grayling is found). This place is a true angler's dream for every fly fisherman.

Brown trout

Wary, sharp-eyed and hard to fool — the brown trout is the classic dry-fly quarry of the Tara, Lim and Ljuča, holding tight in the fast, cold currents. Just as often taken on euronymph as on a dry, and every bit as rewarding.

A huchen released back into the shallows

Huchen (hucho hucho)

The wide and wild river Lim is home to the huchen (hucho hucho), European taimen of large dimensions of 60 cm - 140 cm — fly fishing with streamers is a real spectacle to catch because it is a great fighter. Heavier equipment is required. Although it is a winter fish, it knows how to surprise during the entire summer season.

A fish on the line is never the whole story. It's the mist, the silence, and a river that asks for patience.
